Orchestral strings

Our on site workshop is set up to do all repairs to orchestral string instruments. Trained repairers will gladly advise on what can be done to an instrument to improve either the sound or visual appearance, as well as repairing damaged instruments. We can give estimates on any job before starting the work and we can invoice your insurance company if required.
We rehair bows and offer a postal service for this if needed.

Guitar family

Guitars, Banjos, Mandolins, etc are repaired by local guitar makers, although string replacements and small repairs are done in the shop.

Woodwind and Brass

Repairs are undertaken by local, trained repairers who collect and return your instrument to our shop.

Valuations

We can give valuations on your instrument but please ring first on Tel: 01482 881584 to make sure the appropriate person will be here when you come. If you need a written valuation for insurance, probate etc there will be a charge.
